Dr. Perez completed his medical training at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, where he graduated with honors. He subsequently completed a rigorous plastic surgery residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX – ranked the #1 plastic surgery training program in the country.

There he was fortunate to train with giants in the field, many of whom pioneered surgical techniques widely used in plastic surgery today. He was then hand-selected to work under the mentorship of world-expert Dr. Grant Stevens and joins us here at Marina Plastic Surgery and Medspa.
His calm demeanor coupled with his meticulous dedication to detail and aesthetic eye make him an excellent addition to our team. He offers the full spectrum of aesthetic surgery as well as nonsurgical treatments like injectables, lasers, and skin resurfacing treatments.
BESSY
Patient Care Coordinator/Master Coolsculpting Tech/CMA
Bessy is our Patient Care Coordinator, and the go-to person for our patients from the very beginning of their experience at Marina Plastic Surgery of Los Angeles. She joined our practice in 2015 with extensive knowledge in the medical industry. Her past includes cosmetic, dermatologic, family practice and oncology experience as a Certified Surgical / Medical Assistant and through her leadership and passion for the aesthetic industry, has played a significant role in our practice.

Bessy works closely with Dr. Perez conducting his consultations, managing his surgical schedule, and learning his expert techniques to deliver the best results to our patients. Her favorite thing about working at Marina Plastic Surgery of Los Angeles is being a part of every patient’s transformation from start to finish. Through her journey, she not only explains procedures and answers questions but also delivers a meticulous level of personalized attention to ensure all our patients are well prepared for their consultation and surgical procedure making each patient's transformative experience truly exceptional.
In addition to managing our surgical patients she’s a Master Coolsculpting Technician. Her primary focus is to be the liaison between patients for all their surgical and non-surgical needs. Bessy ensures optimal communication, understanding and maximum comfort and trust while in our care!
Annie
Medical Assistant & Coolsculpting Technician
Annie is a professionally licensed Surgical/Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist with a strong passion for patient care. With over eight years of experience in the medical field, she has worked in Plastic Surgery, Aesthetics, Ketamine Therapy, and Physical Therapy.Dedicated to advancing her expertise, Annie is currently furthering her education at CBD College as a Surgical Technologist and at California State University, Northridge, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with the goal of specializing in Aesthetics.In addition, Annie has three years of experience as a CoolSculpting technician. During consultations, she takes a personalized approach, tailoring treatment plans to help patients achieve their health and beauty goals from the inside out.
Andrea
RN, BSN
Andrea, RN, BSN, is an accomplished nurse injector with three years of experience in aesthetic medicine. She specializes in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and advanced laser treatments, delivering personalized care to help clients achieve their aesthetic goals. Andrea has trained under some of the most renowned injectors in Beverly Hills, honing her skills and mastering the art of precision and natural-looking results. Her commitment to safety, innovation, and client satisfaction sets her apart in the field.
