A breakthrough cellulite treatment

What if there was a way to reduce the appearance of cellulite without surgery? What if you could finally fix those stubborn trouble spots on your buttocks that seem like they’re exercise-proof? Believe it or not, there is a way to do just that, and it’s called QWO.

Marina MedSpa in Los Angeles now has this breakthrough cellulite treatment, and it’s available to you. With as few as three treatments with QWO, your cellulite can be diminished, and you can finally perfect the look of your dreams. At Marina MedSpa, we specialize in cutting-edge aesthetic treatments that can have you looking your best in no time.

What is QWO?

QWO represents the latest advances in the battle against excess cellulite. This treatment utilizes collagenase clostridium histolyticum-aaes to eliminate cellulite by breaking down the structures within the cellulite itself. At the same time, it’s believed QWO works to redistribute fat cells under the skin and promote the production of new, healthy collagen.

This FDA-approved prescription injectable has been shown to significantly reduce the presence and appearance of cellulite in moderate to severe deposits. The QWO treatment is only minimally invasive, which means you won’t experience the pain and downtime associated with more traditional methods like surgery. With as little as three treatments, QWO can finally give your body the slimmer, sexier contours you’ve been working to achieve.

How do I know if QWO is right for me?

QWO has been shown to be safe and effective in treating moderate to severe cellulite deposits in adult women. Cellulite results from the presence of fat cells within connective tissue and is exceedingly common among women. Some estimates say it will affect as many as 90% of women during their lifetimes.

While it is sometimes believed that cellulite is caused by improper diet or insufficient exercise, this is not the case. Rather, doctors believe cellulite is the result of a complex set of physiological factors, including hormones and heredity. During your consultation at Marina MedSpa, your aesthetic professional will talk through with you the potential benefits and risks of treatment with QWO. If you’ve been plagued by cellulite on your buttocks and you’re ready to do something about it, QWO may be the solution for you.

Am I a Good Candidate for QWO?

Research into collagenase treatments like QWO is ongoing, but studies so far have demonstrated its efficacy and safety, leading to its approval by the FDA. However, QWO is not right for everyone. If you have an active infection in or around the area you want to be treated, you should wait until the infection clears before using QWO. Also, if you’re allergic to collagenase (or to any of the other ingredients in the QWO injection), you should not use this treatment.

The professionals at Marina Medspa will discuss your medical history during your consultation, so make sure to inform them about any medications, vitamins, and supplements you’re taking — especially if you use any medicine that can inhibit blood clotting. Also, make sure to let your provider know if you are breastfeeding, pregnant, or planning to become pregnant. We always recommend that our patients consult with their primary care physician before undergoing any elective treatment.

QWO Procedure

The QWO injections are very simple and straightforward. Most treatments with QWO require no anesthesia and take less than 10 minutes.

Once the area to be treated has been identified, your aesthetic professional will use a needle and syringe to inject the medicine into the fat under the skin of your buttocks. Injections are usually done in several places around each buttock to ensure balanced, even results. Patients typically undergo three treatment sessions spaced about three weeks apart.

QWO Recovery

In clinical trials, patients using QWO required no downtime after their treatments, meaning they could return to their normal, daily routines immediately. Some patients did experience slight pain or itching around the injection sites, as well as minor bruising, swelling, or discoloration. Feeling warmth or areas of hardness have also been reported.

However, all of these symptoms typically resolved themselves within a day or two. Although extremely rare, patients should also be on the lookout for signs of a severe allergic reaction. If you experience symptoms like hives, trouble breathing, low blood pressure, dizziness, or fainting, you should call your healthcare provider immediately.

QWO Results

Results should be seen after about ten weeks of total treatment time (from the first treatment until 28 days after the final appointment). You should see a visible reduction in the appearance of cellulite, and your buttocks should be noticeably smoother. Keep in mind that every patient’s body is unique, so your results may vary.
